Food Innovation Product Award 2018

The Food Innovation Product Award is one of the key initiatives championed by SFMA supporting the Food Manufacturing Industry Transformation Map launched in November 2016. Since the inaugural FIPA in 2016, the competition has brought together close to 50 teams of food manufacturers and students from Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) to collaborate and create new and exciting food products. It gives food manufacturers the chance to develop new innovation capabilities and enhance their competitive edge in local and overseas markets. Many of the food manufacturers have since commercialised their products in both B2B and B2C formats, locally and overseas.
